Established in 1979 by Mr. Mansoor Kuvawala, Amko Mining and Drilling Eqpt. Pvt. Ltd. was founded to manufacture diamond core drilling equipments for Mineral Exploration, Soil investigation and Spares for the mining industry in India.

From humble beginnings, we have grown to become the largest manufacturer of diamond core drilling accessories in India, Employing about 80 people in three different locations. Our clients in India include prestigious Central government organizations like Geological Survey of India, Mineral Exploration Corporation Ltd , Central Mine And Planning & Design Institute , Singerani Collieries Co. Ltd. , Atomic Mineral Division , Coal India and many other private sector Mining , Infrastructure and Construction companies.

Under the stewardship of Mr. M. G. Kuvawala and Government of India's liberalized Trade & Economic policies backed by incentives for export Amko Mining and Drilling Eqpt. Pvt. Ltd. had ventured into the international market in the early 1990's. Today almost 65 percent of our Sales turnover comes from exports. Our equipments are exported to over 16 different countries and our brand Amko is very popular in the South East Asian region. We have sellers in the US, UK, UAE, Mexico, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Phillipinnes, Turkey and  Australia. Our product quality is on par with top international manufacturers and we have become the preferred suppliers to many mining and drilling companies as our price to quality equation is far superior and in the consumer's favour. Also, Amko's delivery time is one of the shortest in the Industry as we hold a very large inventory.

Our insistence on quality has made us redesign our manufacturing processes and we have procured the best measuring instruments, gauges and Computerized Numerical Controlled (CNC) Machines available. In fact, we have 18 CNC machines in two different locations in Pune, India. The result is superior quality from start to finish. Kuvawala Drilling Equipments are manufactured from the best quality raw materials and they undergo rigorous quality control checks before, after and during the manufacture process.
